Cheap Business and First class from New York to Beijing
Advantages of Flying First Class
Traveling, especially on long-distance flights like those between New York and Beijing, can be a stressful affair. First class and business class tickets allow you to put the tension and worry behind you in a world where your comfort and wellbeing take center stage.
Superior seating, excellent food and wine, and the best service on the ground and in the air make your time traveling a most pleasant one.
Two airlines offer non-stop flights on the New York to Beijing route – United and Air China.
However, only Air China offers first class cabins on this sector. It operates from JFK Airport in the United States and lands at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) in the Chinese capital. On the other hand, United Airlines offers business class seats on its flights to Beijing which originate at Newark Airport (EWR) and land at PEK.
United's route using the Boeing 777-200 takes 14 hours to complete while the Chinese Airline's Boeing 777-300ER flights are marginally shorter at 13 hours 50 minutes. The Air China flight cruises at 573 mph at an altitude of 9,450 m while United uses an airway at an altitude of 8,850 m and flies at 540 mph.
Both airlines offer lie-flat seats but United's cabins have the added advantage on in-flight Wi-Fi for your convenience.
Airports in Beijing
There are currently two airports in Beijing. The first is the Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) while Beijing Nanyuan Airport (NAY) performs the role of the city’s secondary airport. A new major international airport, the Beijing Daxing International Airport is expected to be completed and in operation by late 2018.
Beijing Capital International Airport is one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Inter-terminal transport across the vast complex is via automated people movers and regular buses.
The Beijing Subway system has a dedicated Airport Express Line that connects two of the three terminals directly to the city. A journey from the city to the airport takes approximately 20 minutes.
There are also direct feeder bus services from several points within the city of Beijing to the airport, as well as to major neighboring cities from the airport. Three separate expressways lead to PEK; note that they are all toll roads.
